Has Chondrostereum purpureum been registered as an EPA pesticide active ingredient?
Chondrostereum purpureum appears in EPA's APPRIL records as an active ingredient in four pesticide products. Two carry an active EPA registration and two are inactive. Searches for Chondrostereum purpureum EPA registration should separate the two groups, because an inactive registration is not a current one.
The active registrations are Cp-Pfc 2139 (EPA reg. 64137-17) and Chontrol Paste (EPA reg. 64137-18), both from Danstar Ferment Ag / Lallemand Plant Care and both listing strain PFC 2139. The inactive registrations are Myco-Tech Paste (EPA reg. 74128-2) and Chondrostereum Purpureum Strain Hq1 Concentrate (EPA reg. 74128-1), both from Myco-Forestis Corporation and both listing strain HQ1.
An EPA registration is precedent for the active ingredient. It is not an AAPFCO biostimulant determination, and these records do not show one.
