What does the published scientific research say about Methylorubrum populi?

Source: PubMed and scientific literature databases

In a maize endophyte diversity study (PMID 36385222), M. populi was identified via 16S rRNA gene sequencing among a set of multi-trait plant growth-promoting endophytes. The authors cited the broader isolate panel for traits including phosphate solubilization, potassium solubilization, IAA production, siderophore production, and exopolysaccharide production, and described the isolates collectively as candidates for bio-inoculant development in sustainable maize production.
