What does the published scientific research say about Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes?
Strain KB-10 is reported in the peer-reviewed literature to enhance salinity tolerance in coriander plants; its 5.2 Mb genome has been sequenced and published (PMID 34016678). In a rice endorhizosphere study, P. pseudoalcaligenes produced phosphate-solubilizing acids, siderophores, indole-3-acetic acid, and gibberellins, and improved seedling dry weight, plant height, and root length under greenhouse conditions — cited findings in the research, not approved label claims.
Strain AVO110 is reported to control avocado white root rot caused by Rosellinia necatrix through competition for rhizosphere nutrients and niches (PMID 30478234). The rice endorhizosphere isolate also produced β-1,3-glucanase and chitinase, which the authors associate with fungal pathogen suppression. A separate phosphorus study found the species' P-solubilizing activity stimulated by root exudate compounds including threonine and 4-hydroxybutyric acid (PMID 36899103).
