What does the published scientific research say about Puccinia thlaspeos?

Source: PubMed and scientific literature databases

The cited research reports that inoculum doses as low as 1 mg per plant can establish infection in dyer's woad rosettes, with higher doses producing better infection rates. Placement method — directly on the plant or on adjacent soil — made no significant difference. Timing, however, did: spring inoculations yielded the highest disease incidence, while summer and fall applications failed to establish infection.
