What does the published scientific research say about Stutzerimonas balearica?
In that study, a strain designated Pseudomonas balearica RF-2, isolated from desert-weed rhizosphere, was evaluated as a plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) on wheat under water stress. Seed inoculation with RF-2 is reported in peer-reviewed research to produce the highest promptness index (68%) and germination index (100%) under polyethylene glycol-induced drought among the strains tested, with significant improvements in plant growth, leaf area, and biomass. The strain displayed ACC-deaminase activity, phosphorus/zinc/potassium solubilization, IAA production, and siderophore production in laboratory conditions.
